All my cakes from past to present.

Below is the history of my cake decorating progress. I am just in love with making cakes and coming up with new ideas. Below are all the cakes I have made up to today. I can't wait to post the rest that I make. :)

My daughter wanted a dolphin/fish theme for her birthday. This was the first cake I attempted and I was in love with how it turned out. It was HUGE. Much bigger than I imagined.

This is one of my practice cakes.

Practice cake #2. Getting really good at buttercream roses.

Learning another flower technique.

My first fondant cake. This was a fun cake to make. I really enjoy working with fondant.

Buttercream icing, fondant accents and buttercream roses.

I was asked to make a train cake. I didn't have the train when I made the cake, but the tracks were there for her to put it on the tracks. All buttercream.

A fun 4th of July cake.

A cake for our girl scout summer swim party.

I had a request to make a Super Mario cake. All the accents are made of fondant except for Mario and Lugie on top. I loved how this turned out. the clouds are buttercream and buttercream frosting on the cake.

This was fun. A batman cake. I loved getting creative with the fondant. The birthday boy loved his cake.

And my latest cake. A jungle theme for my friends baby shower. All buttercream. Came out totally adorable.
